What GPS tracking do you need for all bookings?
We need the following GPS tracking locations for each booking:
- Driver on way
- Driver arrived at pickup point
- Passenger on Board
- Driver departed to drop off point
- Driver arrived at drop off point
As a minimum, we require GPS driver events for Driver arrived at pickup point and Passenger on Board.
Why do you need the GPS driver events?
Passenger no Show - we require evidence that your driver arrived at the pick up point at the correct date and time.
VIP bookings - If you are Top Tier partner with us, it a requirement and you would have agreed to this as part of your upgrade to serve our VIP customers. Failure to provide this, can result in higher fines or even removal from Top Tier.
It's protection for you as a partner, in case of complaints if we can provide evidence that the driver was at the agreed pickup point on time and that the job was completed.
What if we're integrated via TBMS, iCabbi or Autocab?
- If you are integrated via a dispatch system above, this will auto send the events to the minicabit dashboard, provided your drivers are correctly marking the correct outcomes on the bookings on time within TBMS, Autocab or iCabbi apps. Please ensure your drivers are aware of what is required.
- You must also ensure that your driver mobile details are entered as +44
What if we're not with those dispatch systems or integrated?
- If you are not integrated with one of the above, then you must send your drivers the minicabit driver view for each booking and ensure they update each of the stages above.
