What if a passenger has a wheelchair?
A customer can add a foldable (or collapsed) wheelchair as a luggage item to be stored in the boot of the car, which will be factored into the vehicle type they book on minicabit.
If the booking requires a vehicle which allows for a wheelchair to be on board with a passenger sitting in it, this information should be passed to you within the ‘Additional information’ section detailed in the booking.
minicabit encourages cab partners to offer such vehicles as we do often get such requests. We can even highlight that you offer such vehicles next to your company name when customers see your quotes.
If you ever do not have an appropriate vehicle that can take a wheelchair & passenger onboard, then you must call/email the customer immediately and contact minicabit as soon as possible. (Any fee you may require for this must be settled entirely between you and the customer – minicabit does not collect such fees.)
