How do I set up flash sales?

One useful feature of your minicabit account is the Flash Sales calendar. Through this page, you can enter in Flash Sales, which are short-term price decreases that are advertised to the customer.

You can set a flash sale for a maximum of 1 week. So for example, if you wish to offer a 10% discount on all your fares, you can choose to offer customers the discount for 6 hours, 24 hours or for an entire week (168 hours). There is also a limit of 10% or £10, this way we can encourage genuine sales on your normal prices.

You can dictate which day, for which vehicles and the percentage or flat rate price decrease you want to offer. You are able to specify which vehicle size you would like the discount to apply to by ticking the 'Apply to these car sizes' box. For instance during half term holidays, you could offer a reduction for 5-6 seaters in order to give a better price to families travelling to the airport. 

The original price and new price are shown side by side on our website, highlighted in red to display the discount the customer can receive by booking with you. This is a powerful tool that many of our partners use to boost booking volume during quiet times.
