You have the ability to pause your account immediately for up to 2 hours, in one hour increments if you have low vehicle availability and/or cannot take bookings. You also have the option to pause your availability for up to 2 hours for any date in the future.
To pause your account, go to the My Availability page and scroll down to the bottom of the page to Pause Availability.
To pause your account now, simply:
i) All Vehicle Types are automatically selected for you
ii) Select the no. of hours you want to pause for
iii) Click ‘Pause availability’
iv) Click ‘Save’
To pause your account for any date in the future, simply:
i) Select ‘pause in the future’
ii) All Vehicle Types are automatically selected for you
iii) Select the date and time you want the pause to start
- iv) Select the date and time you want the pause to stop
iv) Click ‘Pause availability’
v) Click ‘Save’
You will be able to see any future pauses you have at the bottom of the ‘My Availability’ page. If you would like to pause your availability for a separate date, you will need to cancel the current pause you have set up as you cannot schedule more than one pause at a time. Also, if your availability is currently paused, you will not be able to schedule a pause for any future date so you will need to resume your availability before you do that.
Please note, if you have paused for 2 hours, this means you can still receive bookings but not with a pickup time within 2 hours of the time you pressed ‘pause’. If you press the pause button again, you can resume availability immediately. We will monitor how much you use this function and expect it to only be used rarely.
