As well as the compulsory fields which you need to update on your minicabit dashboard (these are in this FAQ here), there are additional fields you must also complete on a booking.

Driver Details: It's now crucial for you to provide the details of the assigned driver for each booking. This information enables us to streamline communication with customers, minimising the need for intermediary calls from minicabit support and ensuring a smoother pickup process.

What does this mean for you?
- Increased Transparency: Updating the booking in case of driver delays enhances transparency, which can mitigate potential complaints or issues arising from lateness.
- Efficient Communication: Providing driver details directly to the customer helps avoid confusion during pickups, reducing the likelihood of complaints related to locating the driver.
How can you utilise these features?
Driver events:
- Before marking a job "Passenger on Board," you now have the option to mark a booking as Driver Arrived, as shown in the example below.
- Similarly, if the driver is running late, you can update the booking to let us know.
- If you choose this option, you'll be prompted to input an estimated arrival time in a 24-hour format.
- For both events, the status of the booking will update on your dashboard automatically.
We’re fully integrated with minicabit via our dispatch system
If you’re fully integrated with minicabit, your booking will update automatically, requiring no action on your part.
However, if you're working with drivers who aren't utilising your dispatch app, you must instead use the minicabit driver view to update the booking. This ensures seamless communication and coordination for a smoother experience overall. Click here for information and instructions.
